My Scentsy Story...
My journey with Scentsy began in April of 2016. I was a stay-at-home mother of one with baby number two on the way. I was looking for an outlet something for me other than being a mother and wife. I had been using Scentsy products for years and had always wanted to join but the timing never seemed right . So, I did it!!! It was one of the best decisions I had ever made .

I started working my Scentsy business in August of 2016, I recruited, I promoted, I worked really hard with expanding my clientele and I am happy to say I promoted to Director at the end of November (2016). Being a part of the Scentsy family has not only been financially rewarding but it has given me a feeling of purpose again other than being a mother and wife . I have met some amazing people on my journey with Scentsy , and I formed some amazing relationships
Since joining Scentsy in 2016 I have earned several all-expenses paid trip around the world. Punta Cana, Mediterranean cruise to Spain, France and Italy, Cancun Mexico, Marco island, a cruise from New York to Bermuda, a trip to Disney and most recently an Alaskan cruise this coming July I have earned the coveted Annual Mentor award in 2017, plus i have earned the Annual Sales award.

In February of 2020 I was in an accident on my side by side and I hit my head my husband Jamie suggested that i go to the hospital to make sure I didn't have a concussion or any internal damage, at that time I had a CT scan, and that is when my life took a dramatic change. The CT discovered a brain tumor......
I was set to have brain surgery in March of 2020 but covid hit so my surgery was postponed. It was at that time that i threw myself even deeper into my business as it was a great distraction from all of the unknown in my life. June 21st 2020 I had my first brain surgery where they successfully removed 75% of the tumour. Two days after my surgery , I promoted to STAR DIRECTOR which is the second highest title within the company.
When my tumour was originally discovered I was told that it wasn't cancerous . The biopsy results from my surgery yielded a different answer, I was diagnosed with a grade 2 primary brain cancer in early July of 2020. I had thought about quitting Scentsy, I thought about focusing on my health and my family...... But I decided that I wasn't going to allow the disease to take my business from me as that was one thing, I had control over.
In September of 2020 while still recovering from my brain surgery and a severe post-surgical infection I promoted to the tippy top of the company and became a SUPERSTAR DIRECTOR . It was such an incredible feeling knowing that will all I was going through it didn't stop me and my team from reaching the top.
December 2020, I started my chemotherapy and radiation form my brain cancer, I had a second brain surgery in March of 2021 ... while all this was happening, I was still able to work my Scentsy business, I was still able to have an income, I was still able to work with my team. I often thought what would be happening if I had a regular full-time job, how would I able to contribute to my family .... 2021 continued to bring more health issues, in October of 2021 I was diagnosed with another primary cancer this time it was a head and neck cancer, although it was unrelated to the brain cancer itself, the doctors believe that the radiation to treat the brain cancer caused the new cancer.
So, at the end of October 2021 I had surgery again, this time I had a neck resection because the cancer from my head and neck spread to my lymph nodes. I also did chemotherapy and radiation December 2021- February 2022.
Now if you have continued to read this far, you might be wondering why I have shared all this with you .... the answer is simple, no matter what life throws our way with Scentsy we have the opportunity to work our businesses as much or as little as we like. We get to be our own bosses; we get to share our love for these amazing products when it works for us.
